Review: Dr. Zach Bush's 8-week Journey of Intrinsic Health Course

Updated: Mar 27, 2022

In this post, I will share my experience of completing the course and give you an inside of what you can expect when you enroll. We will look into: How The Course is structured. Would I recommend it? Was it worth the money? What was my biggest takeaway?

The structure of the course and time commitment

The course consists of eight modules: Be, Flow, Fuel, Breath, Move, Rest, Play and Connect. The idea is to cover one topic each week but in the end, you are free to go at your own pace. Each module starts with a video lecture by Zach that is ca. 1,5 hours long. Some modules have additional videos like a meditation practice or a workout where you can follow along. I invested around 3 hours each week digesting the content and doing the practices, and then I also had a 45 min coaching call. This time was great for asking questions and reflecting on the content and committing to integrating the new knowledge into my daily life. It gave me accountability, and I found it helpful to get my progress reflected back to me by someone else.

The content

I have been a fan of Zach Bush for quite a while now and what I enjoyed was the depth that he covered in these videos. While some topics might seem familiar from podcasts etc. he takes it to a new level and makes it actionable. It is a great mix of biology, quantum physics, and spirituality. He discusses the topics on a micro level and then takes them to the macro. For example, he explains the mechanisms of why many develop a leaky gut. This means that the membrane of your gut becomes permeable and the food that you consume leaks into your bloodstream. He then explains how these damaged boundaries inside your body make it hard for you to have defined boundaries in your life. It becomes difficult to understand who you are in comparison to your environment. This lack of self-identity might stand in the way of discovering your purpose here on this planet.

Did the course match my expectations?

No, and I am happy about that. Let me give you some background to unpack this. I have been struggling with my health for over five years now and have talked to countless doctors, done a ton of research, and tried many diets as well as holistic approaches. One thing that I subconsciously learned from these experiences was that the treatment is created based on the symptoms I have. I was caught up in finally finding the right diagnoses so that I could get treatment and get healed. But when I started the course there was not much space to talk about my symptoms. It took me a moment to understand that these eight points encompass a journey to health no matter where you are right now. There is no need to detour and figure out why you have these symptoms and what you can do to make them go away. All of them are an expression of an imbalance in your body. If you recalibrate yourself they will naturally fall away. This brings me to my next point.

My biggest takeaway

I am health! This is such a simple statement but if you understand the vastness of it it is breathtaking. I am a miracle and I am an embodiment of health. For so long I saw myself as a sick person and by doing so I manifested more sickness in my body. But my body is constantly trying to heal itself and these eight points gave me a fundamental understanding of how to shift my body, mind, and soul into a state of healing.

Would I recommend the course?

Hell yeah! This program was life-changing. It reframed how I look at health and myself in relation to it. It explained the mechanisms of our biology and how they are linked to the bigger picture of society. I found many helpful tools and exercises that I have now implemented into my daily life. And I can finally truly say that I am on a journey towards health and living my purpose.

A big thank you to Zach Bush and his incredible team for sharing this content for such an affordable price. And a special thank you to my coach Jules Zoetmulder for the amazing support along this journey.
